JMA Architects is a small, diversified Architectural office with over 35 years of experience. We offer a wide range of architectural services for homeowners, business owners, investors and contractors while continuing to evolve as a full-service architectural office. We are seeking a CAD Operator to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. You will participate as a team member in the design and technical development of all phases of various types of residential and commercial projects.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Associates degree in CAD design – Architectural technology
- Minimum 3 years of work-related experience
- Proficient in AutoCad Architecture
Experience and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments
- Excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
- Ability to work well minimal supervision
- Experience with Sketch-up and Photoshop a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CAD system to create and modify drawings
- Adhere to office CAD drafting standards
- Perform tasks required for project development
- Prepare complete and accurate drawings
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
